The author, Mark Ellyatt, is a man who has pushed the sport of scuba diving to the limits and speaks his mind on the subject. He recognises stupidity when he sees it, tells it as it is and owns up to it when it is his doing. So, if you are sensitive, don't go there but if you want a 'warts and all' romping good read, this is the book for you.
Mark has many years undertaking technically difficult dives, finding and diving deep wrecks in difficult locations. As with anyone pushing the boundaries, he has learnt much from practical experience. He has also observed diving and dive leading practices at home and abroad and has a deal to say on the subject. He is often contraversial and will certainly attract ridicule from some quarters but because of his boldness and honesty, his commentary and views are worthy.
This book is highly recommended for advanced technical and deep divers, travelling adventurers and hardened thrill seekers.
